About Me
Hi! My name is Tracey.
I am currently the Instructional Systems Administrator at Athens State University. I came to Athens State in 2021 after more than 20 years in the IT industry, where I worked in database development, business intelligence, technical writing, and customer support. My initial work here at Athens State was as a Content Development Specialist on the ActiveFlex project.
My husband John and I live in Cullman, Alabama, with three of our children: Scarlette, a senior at St. Bernard Prep, and twins Elisabeth and Bryant, freshmen at Cullman Christian School. Our eldest daughter, Briana, and her husband Chris live nearby with our two precious grandchildren. Living rent-free in our house are also Jack and Gus, our 11 year-old dachshunds (they're basically the bosses).
I greatly enjoy learning and education, which explains why I have three degrees:

I am also currently enrolled in Athens State's MEd in Career and Technical Education program, concentrating in Instructional Technology.
