Collaborator
Educators dedicate time to collaborate with both colleagues and students to improve practice, discover and share resources and ideas, and solve problems.
Collaborating
I feel that collaboration is important to gain and share new ideas and new perspectives, particularly in the field of education. The artifacts on this page are examples of my collaborations with others.
VoiceThread
I used VoiceThread to post my comments about Cullman High School's new CTE program offerings and asked people to post their responses. VT is a great way to use images and audio to solicit ideas from others about any topic you choose.
Symbaloo
I used Symbaloo to create a collection of links that would useful for secondary Social Studies instructors. I can share this Symbaloo board with others so they can have access to the same resources to enhance student learning.
MailChimp
I feel that as an instructor, collaborating with students and/or parents is a good way to increase engagement. In the example below, I created a newsletter about an upcoming virtual field trip and asked parents to work with me to enhance the experience for their children. (I also discuss the design process more on the Design page).
